Following the recent Silver Level Award in the benchmarking 2020 Vision Initative, recognising hard work in the area of games development, the Kilbrittain U12 footballers were invited to Croke Park to take part in the Littlewoods Go Games Football blitz. A panel of 19 players, with their trainers and parents set off last Thursday morning with Donal Lombard of O'Connor Coaches as the coach-driver and many supporters who travelled by car.They began with a tour of the stadium and then took part in three twelve minute games. The games were against The Nire (Waterford), Dingle (Kerry) and Fr Caseys (Limerick). A brilliant day was had by all.
The panel included Owen McCarthy, Ronan Crowley, Fionn Ustianowski, Shay O' Brien, Keith Hunt, Korey Casey, Jack Lombard, James Considine, Sean Ahern, James Ahern, Killian O'Beirne, Tom Warner, Callum Nixon, Luke Griffin, John Ryan, Oisin Gillain, Karol Egan, CJ Bryan and Cillian Harrington. Their mentors were John Considine, Fergal Ryan, Adrian Hunt and Frank O'Beirne and local up and coming referee Aoife Brennan also travelled with the Team.
