Best of luck to all concerned. Ar Aghaigh Le Cheile Well done to the Intermediate hurlers who beat Grenagh on Saturday evening in Mayfield. Halftime saw the teams deadlock in a dour game played under persistant drizzle, 0-6 each. It never exploded into life but Kilbrittain when they took the lead early in the second half, stayed in front till the end. A long Ross Cashman free found its way to the net with possible help from Eamon Lyons introduced at the start of the second half. The goal proved the difference between the teams at the end as it finished Kilbrittain 1-11 Grenagh 0-11. Kilbrittain now meet Argideen Rangers in round 2A most likely to be played next Saturday week, 25th June.
Best of luck to the Intermediate hurlers who meet Grenagh in the first round of the championship later this evening in Mayfield at 7pm.
