There was one winner of the Kilbrittain GAA lotto jackpot of €17,500 last night (Sunday 28th). The draw was held in Cashmans Amber Bar.

While Kilbrittain had dominated much of the first half, three first half Mathunas goals in ten minutes were the deciding factors in the end. Kilbrittain lead at halftime 0-6 to 0-3. Despite an early Muintir Bhaire goal in the second half, Kilbrittain dominated most of the game and finished strong following a Noel Griffen goal with eleven minutes to go. The next rounds of the west cork hurling and football championships will be drawn tonight following the Argideen Rangers v Dohenys Junior A football 2nd round in Rossmore. Kilbrittain u14 hurlers played Carbery Rangers in the championship semi final on Sunday evening in Clonakilty . They lost on a score of 2-15 to 5-1.
