Well done to all the boxers who fought on the night. The huge sell-out crowd didn't expect the professionalism and verocity of the fighters and the seriousness of each fight. As the night wore on, the crowd really got into the spirit of the night roaring their support for the boxers! A hugely entertaining night, could not have been possible without the hard working committee behind the scenes. A huge thanks also to Paudie Palmer, DJ Deccie Crowley and Denny Ahern of Bandon GAA pavilion. Finally, a huge thank you to the Main Sponsors Nyhan Motors Bandon for their generous sponsorship, and to all the silent sponsors, and sponsors of the boxers and booklet adverts for making the event such a success!

Meet the Boxers
The Clash without the Ash
Near neighbours Kilbrittain and Courcey Rovers have a long history on the GAA field. A fierce rivalry was built between both clubs stretching from the 1940’s and 50’s right up to 1975 when Courcey Rovers moved to the South East division.
Both clubs have continuing grounds development and financial commitments, which are growing year on year. Courcies have excellent facilities at present while Kilbrittain are undertaking a new development with a new pitch laid during the summer.
Drawing on the huge historic tradition and rivalry especially in hurling in the Carbery division both clubs have come together to organise a fundraising night with the proceeds being shared evenly.
