Last weekends lotto results:
Jackpot €6,000 the numbers drawn were 1, 15, 17, 31. There was no winner. The €40 winners were Ann O'Sullivan, Adrian Kearney, Denis Murphy, Declan O'Donovan, Jim Moore.
The jackpot for this weekend will be €6,200 and the draw takes place on Monday night in The Amber Bar!

Hosting fixtures!

It will be a busy weekend this weekend as the club are hosting 2 adult championship games. (A rare occurrence!)
On Saturday Clonakilty and St. Oliver Plunketts meet in the quarter-final of the Junior A hurling championship. Throw in is at 5pm and all stewards and helpers are asked to attend by 4pm.
Then on Sunday, Argideen Rangers meet Ballincollig in the fourth round of the Intermediate hurling championship Throw in is at 4pm .

Funeral arrangements.

The funeral arrangements of the late Sean Holland Granreigh are as follows:
Reception at St Patricks church, Kilbrittain on tomorrow Tuesday, at 7pm. Funeral mass at 11am on Wednesday with burial in adjoining cemetery.

Busy weekend ahead!

It will be a busy time this weekend as the club are hosting championship games on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday evening, Clonakilty meet St Oliver Plunkets in the quarter-final of the Wesco west cork championship at 5pm.
On Sunday, Arigideen Rangers and Ballincollig meet in the fourth round of the Intermediate hurling championship. Throw in is 4pm. It will be a case of 'all hands on deck' with stewards (ye know who ye are!) asked to present themselves in good time to help on the gate and with parking.

U21 hurling championship

The U21 hurling championship gets under way on Wednesday next, 29th July in Ballinascarthy at 7:30pm when Kilbrittain meet Ibane Gaels in the quarter-final.

Junior B hurling championship

Well done to the Junior B hurlers who beat Randal og 4-10 to 0-8 in their first round of the championship last night in Clonakilty.

The Junior B footballers met a better all round Kilmeen team in the county semi-final in Bandon last night. Kilbrittain failed to score in the first half playing against a strong wind and blazing sun. Kilmeen had a stroke of good fortune just before half time when a missed kicked '45 went all the way to the net to give them a halftime lead of 1-6 to 0-0. Kilbrittain battled hard in the second half but an early 2nd goal made it a mountain to climb and it finished Kilbrittain 0-5 Kilmeen 2-10. Report shorlty.
