Dont forget to collect the token from the back of the Southern Star this week. It is the green token this week. The more times we enter the competition the more chances we will have to win!

Membership for 2019 will be taken after the meeting. Players especially if they attending the meeting may as well pay there and it will be done and dusted!

Collect 2 differently numbered tokens from the Southern Star from last week, this week and next week, fill in the form, nominate Kilbrittain gaa/ Kilbrittain underage and send off to be in the draw to win equipment and gear! The death has occurred of Maurice McCarthy, Farnagark, on 14th November. Mr McCarthy would have played for the club during the 1950's . He travelled abroad for a number of years and upon his return became involved as a selector with the club. He was a selector along with Johnny Keohane RIP and Jimmy Ryan RIP for the Junior A hurlers who won the west cork and County titles. He was a selector with the Intermediate hurlers in 1986 and then again in 1989 & 90.

The first draws of the new series took place last weekend. Unfortunately the club did not have a winner. Thanks to all those who remained in the draw. For those who did not re-new there ticket, we are sorry to see you leave, but you are welcome to re-join at any stage in the future! Thanks to those who signed up as new members, we attracted 15 new members taking our membership of the draw to 105. That's 105 x €45 to come directly back to the club! (with no cost to the club)
 The draw has huge potential if pushed for a larger membership. We may look at that in the coming years!

Jackpot for last weekend was €5,000. The numbers drawn were 4,11,19,27. There was no winner.
€40 winners were Phil Collins, Kieran Madden, Charlie & Oisin & Cara O'Sullivan, Anthony O'Regan, Mgt Desmond.
Next Jackpot will be €5,200 and the draw will be in The Kilbrittain Inn.

Fixtures! This time of year I hear you ask!
The Junior Football Relegation playoff against Barryroe has eventually been fixed for Sunday morning at 11:30 am in Bandon. Best of luck to all concerned.
Hard luck to the Minor Hurlers who were defeated in the county final by Keale Gaels, that was played at last on Saturday afternoon last. The experience will no doubt stand to the lads especially those who are still minor in the coming years.

The annual general meeting that was previously fixed for Wednesday 14th November has been put back to Sunday 25th November at 2pm
It is hoped that the change in date will facilitate those who could not make it midweek due to college etc!
