Buckley Financial Awards Night 2013
The 2013 Buckley Financial Awards will be held in the Parkway Hotel Dunmanway on
January 18th 2013.
The Buckley Financial Awards night has in the past honoured members of the GAA in West Cork that have contributed hugely to the success of the organisation locally.
This year they will honour an 'Unsung Hero' from each club in the Carbery division, to recognise the
work that this individual carries out at club level and the contribution made by this individual to both their club, and GAA in the Carbery Division.
Buckley Financial have recently announced the list of recipients of this award.
They have decided to honour Oliver O'Brien as the 'Unsung Hero' of Kilbrittain GAA. The club would like to congratulate Oliver on this acheivement and look forward to the night in Dunmanway. The club has also been entered in the 'Club of the Year 'competition. While the usual short-list of five clubs has not yet been announced, we wish the club every succes in this award, the result of which will be announced on the awards night.
Tickets are reasonably priced at €25.
Anyone wishing to support Oliver and the Club on the night are asked to book tickets from Marion Twohig as soon as they can, as Buckley Financial will be looking for numbers.
