The 2013/14 series of the Clubs Draw has now finished. Well done to the winners from the club during the past 12 months:

The cost of the twelve draws is €100 (less than €8 a draw!) €45 of each ticket comes directly back to the club. The first two draws September and October will take place in October. Hard luck to the Junior B hurlers who were well beaten in their first round of the championship during the week. Carbery Rangers proved the fitter and better team on the night winning 5-13 to 1-5.
Well done to the minor hurlers who defeated Bantry in the championship 3-15 to 0-6 on Sunday afternoon in Dunmanway. Best of luck to the Junior B hurlers who meet Carbery Rangers in the quarter-final of the championship in Clonakilty this evening at 7:15pm.
Bitter disappointment followed last nights relegation playoff as Watergrasshill preserved their premier status at the expense of Kilbrittain. A wholehearted display from Kilbrittain, one of their best of the year, wasn't good enough. Some dodgy referee decisions went against us and Watergrasshill won the majority of the breaking ball to win on 1-22 to 1-16. Kilbrittain players can hold their heads up high as it was some of their best performances of the year. With both teams having reached the quarter-final in 2013, it shows how level the standard is in the Premier grade when there are no real dominant teams there. There are only 10 weeks left to the Development Draw. We appeal to everyone to please give an evening of your time to go out selling tickets for one final push over the next few weeks. Even if you will only drive, we will get a seller to go with you. Please contact Kevin or Denis Ryan and offer your help.
