There will be a full club meeting in the Community Hall, (Main Hall) on Friday (Tomorrow) at 8:30pm. The main topic to discuss will be the proposed championship changes/structure from 2020. Clubs have been asked to choose from three options circulated in the media and through club contacts. It is important to participate in this debate as the championship format from 2020 will be decided at a special County Board meeting next Tuesday.

This year marks the 20th Classic. anyone interested in sponsoring a team, tee-box or a prize, are asked to contact club officers. The success of the classic over the years has been due to the kind generosity of local people and businesses, sponsoring and entering teams etc. Team tee-times can be got from the committee chairman Tomas Brennan on 0863263503. The National deadline for membership is fast approaching. 31st March is the date set for members to be paid. Members paying after this date will not be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
As we have highlighted already this year, only paid up members will be registered thereby will be covered by the GAA insurance scheme in the event of an injury. So far, any player who has played has paid their membership. There are players especially in the third adult hurling team, who have not paid membership yet. They will not be allowed play unless membership is paid up to 3 days in advance of a game. (this is a National rule that players must be registered three days in advance of a game). Membership can be paid to club officers or by bank transfer, the details of the account numbers on request! The result of week ending 17-3-19 was: Numbers drawn were 17, 22, 26, 31. There was no winner of €4,800 jackpot. €30 went to Kieran Madden, Padraig Brennan, Timmy O'Leary, Joan Sexton, Trish Byrne.
Result of last weekend was: Numbers drawn were 16,26,28,30. There was no winner of €5,000 jackpot. €30 winners were John Paul Hayes (Maulmane), Martin Lehane, John McCarthy (Maryboro), Margaret Desmond, P&M Quinlan. The jackpot for next weekend will be €5,200 and the draw takes place in The Kilbrittain Inn. Jackpot for last weekend was €4,600. The numbers drawn were 2, 5, 16, 20. there was no winner.
€30 winners were Cian & Sam, Liz O'Brien, Tadgh O'Mahony, Kieran Madden, Denis & Mgt Madden. Next Jackpot will be €4,800 and the draw takes place in The Kilbrittain Inn on Monday 18th There was no winner of the €4,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 17, 20, 26, 27. €30 winners were Ann Harrington, Pat & Kay Lawton, Mary Hayes (Maulmane), G&K&C&M&E&co, Peggy O'Brien. Jackpot for the coming weekend will be €4,600 and the draw takes place in The Kilbrittain Inn.
