Weekend fixtures

3/31/2014

The final game in the U21 C football championship group 2 against St Oliver Plunkets should be played on Saturday at 4pm in Rossmore. At least a draw will secure Kilbrittain a semi-final position.
The Intermediate league continues next Sunday when Kilbrittain play Kildorrery in Kilbrittain at 2pm.
The Junior A hurlers meet Bandon in the league also on Sunday in
Bandon with a time to be confirmed. Check locally for definite
fixtures.

Lotto

Last nights lotto jackpot of €10,000 was not won. The numbers drawn were 7, 20, 23, 28. Next weekend's Jackpot will be €10,100.

Cork GAA Clubs Draw

Congratulations and well done to Vincent Murphy, Killeens Kilbrittain, who won a €100 voucher in the Cork GAA Clubs Draw last night held in Ballinspittle. Vincent is the clubs fourth winner in the current series of the draw. the others were Denis Murphy snr, Kevin Harrington & Fergal Keohane.

Cork earned promotion from Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League with a 2-24 to 1-20 win over Wexford at Páirc Uí Rinn this afternoon.

Scor Trath na gCeist

Well done to Milstreet GAA on winning Scor Sinsear Trath na gCeist last night in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. A very impressive 19/20 after the first two rounds paved the way for their win following 10 rounds of 10 questions. Hard luck to the Kilbrittain team of Oliver O'Brien, Denis O'Brien, Mary Brennan, and John Dollard who were up against some very seasoned Scor quiz campaigners in Milstreet and Bride Rovers to name two clubs.
