All over for another year... Thanks to everyone who made Fridays Golf Classic a huge success. The weather was kind again with good sunshine earlier and clear and dry all day right up to the end. An enjoyable day. Well done to Ballymartle GAA who won the competition.

The jackpot last weekend was €6,000. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 19, 31. There was no winner.
€40 winners were Aaron Holland, Darragh Healy, Danny Clarke, Danjoe Holland, Mgt Collins. The jackpot for next weekend will be €6,100.
Sunday last was designated 'La na gClub' and the club marked the occasion with a group club photo at the church steps followed by a parade down the village to the Community field. There, each different age group from under 8's right up to Intermediate/Junior, took part in coaching sessions. The sun made a rare but welcome appearance just in time as players from all age groups along with their mentors and members of the club including president John Madden and club officers all took part in the photo. The on field action was filmed for an upcoming club promotion video. The club would like to thank especially Noel Griffen and Susan O'Brien for organizing the whole event. Susan was the film maker for the day and we look forward to the finished video in due course.
Well done to all concerned.

Don't forget the La na gClub on Sunday next. The club will record a promotional video starting with a group photo at the church steps at 11;30am. All players from all grades are asked to attend and if possible, wear club gear. All officers and ex officers and people involved in any way are all asked to attend. The photo will be followed by a parade to the Community grounds where each group will 'train'. The training session will be filmed also with a view to producing a promotional video of the club. There are no games fixed for Sunday so there will be no excuses!!
Have a little pride in YOUR club and join in for the hour or so it will take.
