Plate final Kilbrittain Inn 7 Post Office 4.
Scores were level at halftime in the Plate final 2-2. but the second half saw Kilbrittain Inn take over the scoring and adding 5 more goals to the Post Office 2, finished on 7- 4. Captain Conor Moloney accepted the Plate from chairman Tomas Brennan.
Cup final Amber Bar 11 Hickeys Shop 10
A three point goal from captain Alan Hayes in the opening minute set the tone for this eagerly contested final. 5-5 at half time it was all to play for in the second half. Hickeys who were unbeaten in the competition were marginally the better team with more goals, but it was Amber Bars ability to score the higher value goals that won it for them on the day. A two pointer put them ahead. Hickeys responded with 2 goals and then a three pointer of their own to take the lead. Amber BAr had a single point goal to go within two and it was the last move of the game involving minors Josh O'Donovan and Patrick O'Mahony with O'Mahony doubling the last shot to the goal for a three pointer to win the game by a point. 11-10. Alan Hayes accepted the 'specially commissioned trophy' from chairman Tomas Brennan.
