Ar aghaigh le cheile The Junior B footballers are in west cork championship action tonight when they meet Newcestown in the semi-final replay in Clonakilty at 7:30pm. The winners will meet Bantry in the final which is likely to be played this coming weekend!
The Minor A hurlers meet Castlelyons in their County semi-final on Saturday (17th) in Ballygarvan at 2:30pm. Best of luck to both teams. Ar Aghaigh le cheile The death occurred of Annie Hodge Danganmore Bandon on September 9th. The condolences of the club are expressed to her family and especially her son Ger and grandson Ian.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the draw, GAA PResident Aogan O'Fearghail was the guest of honor. The draw provides funds for the club in that every €100 ticket brings in at least €45 to the club, ie a club with 500 members will generate funds of €25,500. Anyone interested in joining can contact Oliver O'Brien at 0863855059 or any club officer for details. At the launch were club chairman Denis Ryan, Secretary Marion Twohig and club co-ordinators Con Healy and Oliver O'Brien. There has been a change of advertised time to the Intermediate hurling quarter-final replay against Glen Rovers on Sunday next 11th September. The game was originally fixed for 3pm but is now going ahead at 4pm in Riverstick.
