Kilbrittain GAA club lotto jackpot has reached €11,100. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5. A yearly ticket is available for €100 (includes two free weeks). The draw takes place locally every Sunday night (Monday night on a bank holiday). All tickets can be purchased locally.

The death has occurred of Ellen Sheehan, mother of Tomas (Ratharoon), Micheal and Catherine. The sympathies of the club are expressed to her extended family.

Following the recent Silver Level Award in the benchmarking 2020 Vision Initative, recognising hard work in the area of games development, the Kilbrittain U12 footballers were invited to Croke Park to take part in the Littlewoods Go Games Football blitz. A panel of 19 players, with their trainers and parents set off last Thursday morning with Donal Lombard of O'Connor Coaches as the coach-driver and many supporters who travelled by car.They began with a tour of the stadium and then took part in three twelve minute  games. The games were against The Nire (Waterford), Dingle (Kerry) and Fr Caseys (Limerick). A brilliant day was had by all.
The panel included Owen McCarthy, Ronan Crowley, Fionn  Ustianowski, Shay O' Brien, Keith Hunt, Korey Casey, Jack Lombard, James Considine, Sean Ahern, James Ahern, Killian O'Beirne, Tom Warner, Callum Nixon, Luke Griffin, John Ryan, Oisin Gillain, Karol Egan, CJ Bryan and Cillian Harrington. Their mentors were John Considine, Fergal Ryan, Adrian Hunt and Frank O'Beirne and local up and coming referee Aoife Brennan also travelled with the Team.

In their final preparations for championship, the Intermediate hurlers had a good win over Blackrock in Church road recently, 3-12 to 1-11. The junior A hurlers had mixed results last weekend. They went under to Bandon 1-10 to 3-15 last Friday and then beat O'Donovan Rossa in Skibbereen 4-10 to 1-6.

The Junior Hurlers travel to Shanballymore to play the home side in the county league on Saturday at 6:30pm.
On Sunday morning the Intermediate hurlers play Dungourney in Kilbrittain at 11;30. With championship for both teams little over two weeks away, both these are important games in the preparation for the championship.

The 18th annual Golf Classic will take place on Friday 19th May in Bandon Golf Club. The event will be kindly sponsored again this year by O'Connor Coaches. The event is one of the most anticipated events in our social calendar. Teams of three can be entered for €195. Anyone interested in entering a team are asked to contact Co-ordinator Tomas Brennan for tee-times (0863263503). Please book tee-times early as the time sheet will fill up fast!
​Sponsorship of tee-box or greens will cost €75.
