The Junior A hurling league starts for Kilbrittain on Sunday when they travel to Ardfield to play St James at 4pm. Sunday 8th May has been designated 'La na gClub' for 2016. In conjunction with this day, all players from Under-age to adult, club officers and officials, past players and members are asked to assemble at the church steps for a Club photo. This will be followed by a special promotional video of a club training session at the pitch.

The club social was held in the intimate surroundings of The Pink Elephant on Saturday night last. While the crowd wasnt as big as had been hoped, those who did attend were treated to a fine meal. Chairman Denis Ryan while thanking the Pink Elephant, thanked all those present for coming. He thanked the club sponsors over the last year, O'Connor Coaches, H&H Construction and The Amber Bar. The thanked the field committee for the work on the new development and also had a special word of praise for club runai Marion Twohig. President John Madden was present and his recent birthday was acknowledged, turning '21' on the 29th February!
The McCarthy sisters provided the music and kept the crowd entertained well in to the small hours. Proceeds of the night will be donated to The Cystic Fibrosis association. A reminder to everyone that membership us due. The National deadline for membership payment is 31st March. Membership was set at the AGM as €50 for non playing members and €70 for players. It is important for players to pay their membership to ensure they are covered by the insurance scheme in the case of an injury!
Membership can be paid to club officers or specifically, Denis Ryan, MArion Twohig or Sharon McSweeney. Having been postponed twice over the last fortnight due to unplayable pitches, The U21 football championship against Clann na Gael has been rescheduled for this Saturday at 4:30pm in Enniskeane.
