Hard luck to the Junior A footballers. They were beaten by Dohenys in the relegation battle in Ahiohill on Sunday 3-8 to 0-12. As it stands, Kilbrittain will now play in the Junior B championship in 2015. Dohenys must play Ilen Rovers with the loser alos being relegated for 2015.

There are 38 days left to go to the Development Draw

Well done to the Carbery premier 2 minor hurlers who beat Aghabullough 4-17 to 1-16 to win the county final for the first time ever on Monday night in Pairc ui Rinn. Kilbrittain were well represented with Fergal Keohane (Selector) and players Josh O'Donovan, Patrick O'Mahony, Dylan Twohig, Ian Hodge and Darragh Moore.

There are 42 days left to go to the development draw. Thanks to everyone who are out selling tickets during the week. But, only 5 cars out on a Saturday is not good enough! Thanks to those who spend all day Saturday out selling tickets thus far.

To make it worth our while on a Saturday we need many more cars out on the remaining Saturdays prior to the draw. Please make yourself available if you have time available on Saturdays. One final push for the next few weeks...

Hard luck to the minor hurlers who were defeated by St James in the west cork final. Following a hugely entertaining game where St James did the damage in the first half aided by some strange referee decisions!. St James led at haftime 2-6 to 0-6 after Kilbrittain got a great start racing into a 0-3 to no score lead after 5 minutes. St James got in for a goal on the quarter hour and got their second following a mistake at the back just before halftime. The second half was a more even affair with both sides matching each other. Kilbrittain scored 3-5 while St James added 3-6. Kilbrittains goals coming from Josh O'Donovan (2) and captain David O'Neill. Final score St James 5-12 Kilbrittain 3-11.
