Hard luck to the U21 A hurlers who were narrowly beaten by Newcestown in a hard fought semi-final last Friday evening in windy Ahiohill. Kilbrittan aided by the strong wind in the first half never pulled away during that first half in which the wind was a factor. Kilbrittain started the stronger in the second half and while Newcestown clawed back a couple of points, a smashing Declan Harrington goal gave Kilbrittain breathing space and maintained their lead right up to the final minutes.
