This levelled the game again but Kilbrittain finished strong and two points from Tomas Harrington ended the scoring in a fine competitive sporting game. A cracking goal from Pat O'Mahony half way through the first half helped Kilbrittain to a halftime four point lead in the first round/quarter-final of the 2013 Micheal Holland cup played in Harbourview yesterday afternoon. Argideen opened the scoring with a point in the first minute. A Maurice Sexton pointed free opened the scoring for Kilbrittain closley followed by a fine point from Tomas Harrington. Argideen scored the next two to regain the lead before Ross Cashman equalised in the tenth minute. Argideen pointed a free almost immediately. The aforementioned Pat O'Mahony then goaled in the seventeenth minute to give Kilbrittain a lead they held to the break. Argideen were next to score before a purple patch from Kilbrittain saw Sexton score three points from frees and Cashman pointing before halftime.
